14 Belton Street

Overview

Stanhope is a quaint, rural community in the New Jersey Highlands, bordered by the Musconetcong River and Lake. Morris Habitat for Humanity performed a gut rehabilitation on 14 Belton Street in Stanhope, New Jersey. The single-family, affordable home spans 1,292 square feet.

ReVireo guided Morris Habitat for Humanity through the ENERGY STAR Homes certification. ReVireo performed energy modeling that then served as the basis of design consulting on material and equipment specifications, including insulation, windows, and lighting, thereby creating an energy-efficient, cost-effective new residence. ReVireo also provided necessary testing services for ENERGY STAR certification, including duct and envelope leakage testing and mechanical ventilation verification. ReVireo helped Morris Habitat for Humanity achieve their project goal of an energy-efficient home and qualified them for over $1,200 in rebates from the New Jersey Clean Energy Program.
