The Estates at Borden’s Crossing is a new luxury home community built in Bordentown, NJ by D.R. Horton, one of the largest residential builders in the United States. All of the homes in this community were built to meet or exceed the standards of the 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), thus making the homes much more energy efficient than the older resale homes also available in this exceptional school district.
For this and other communities throughout New Jersey, ReVireo provided D.R. Horton with basic code compliance consulting and inspections in order to ensure all homes met energy code requirements. Included in these services were energy code calculations (REScheck), IECC compliance consulting, duct tightness inspections, and envelope tightness (Blower Door) inspections.
