The Metropolitan Lofts

Overview

The Metropolitan Lofts at Morristown by Woodmont Properties is a mixed-use 70,000+ sq. ft. multi-family building centered in the vibrant downtown of Morristown, NJ. The Metropolitan Lofts complex holds 59 luxury rental lofts, as well as a 2,000 sq. ft. indoor fitness center facility. Adjacent to the building is parking garage for residents.

ReVireo managed the ENERGY STAR certification and LEED for Homes Silver-level equivalency on this exciting project. This included: energy modeling, design consulting, inspections, diagnostic testing, documentation processing, and coordinating participation in both the NJ Clean Energy Program for rebates. ReVireo qualified the project for approximately $50,000 in rebates from the NJ Clean Energy Program for ENERGY STAR certification and the project achieved Silver-level equivalency under the LEED for Homes Program to comply with requirements of the municipal redevelopment plan.

These certifications were achieved through the use of advanced framing practices, construction waste reduction, low flow plumbing fixtures, and energy efficient equipment. Through achieving these certifications, tenants at The Metropolitan Lofts save on energy and water, resulting in lower utility bills each month. Additionally, several the credits earned to achieve the LEED Silver-level equivalency tie directly to the living environment, including enhanced ventilation in the apartments, thus enhancing the health and well-being of occupants.
